Freddy Deane makes art, stories, and movies. He is based in Paris. Thru DEANE MACHINE, he collaborates with brands to create shows to stream on their sites, art for their products, and stories for their stores.

Freddy's work intersects art, entertainment, and fashion.

He honed his storytelling skills making movies, TV shows, commercials and plays, writing scripts and books, acting, and studying with master teachers in New York and L.A.

He honed his art by building the Smiling Planet brand and illustrating books. Freddy's illustrations and stories brought Smiling Planet's product line to life and resonated with young and old across cultures and around the world.

His character Guru Lion is on mission to connect the world with wisdom, love and donuts - but not necessarily in that order ;)
